go and do things
Get out of your comfort zone is such a cliche. But if you do not, are you really living life?
Want to do something? Go and do it. Who is stopping you, really?
People imagine that getting out of your comfort zone is some giant leap for humanity, but all you've got to do is move the needle ever so slightly. Boil the frog, if you will.

The first time I touched Swedish was 11 or 12 years ago. I was fresh out of high school with only a vague idea of what I want out of life. I may have seen a post or two on Reddit about studies in Sweden and loved the idea.
I studied back in the old country in the end, and recycled the same old places here and there. Eventually, I've found a job in teaching. Had a life. I didn't have to move.
But I did. I wanted to, so I can be where I need to be at the moment. My priorities may change, but I also can't do it all at once. Baby steps are the way to go. They're much less scary.
I still have a life. And I'm closer to my place in the world. A step is a step is progress. It's different, but that's better than being holed up in a rut wasting your life away.
It's cliche, but also touche.
Go and live life. You're going to have that nagging feeling if you don't.
